  Nice pub great pint and heated smoking area perfect. Apart from was given an out of date £5 note went back next day to hand it in to be told we don't accept them the cheek

  Absolutely disgraceful! The veg was hard and the meat was dry. We asked for a tea room and got the actual pub area and then we asked to be moved and they wasn't happy about that. Then when we complained about the food at the end of the meal the staff avoided us until we moved from the table and started bitching about my family and didn't realise that a member of my family was there in ear shot! They then started shouting " so rude rude rude".

  Great family run pub. Had my sons Christening in the function room. Lots of space inside and out so massive potential for wedding's if you had a marquee outside. Food was served hot and on time and the staff were absolutely amazing. Couldn't of asked for a better service!
